Significant growth in aviation jobs is forecast in the next few years. But finding and onboarding new talent is a challenge. Current training initiatives are not effective enough. Some domains such as ground handling suffer from high staff turnover which can be a threat to safety. IATA's Human Resources Report identifies training in safety as one of two high priorities.
That is why AviAssist has developed this course for you. Staff knowledge in ground operations and some other domains is unregulated, limited and varies greatly by region. Make sure your staff applies international best practices so you don’t have to compromise on efficiency and safety for your clients and become their preferred supplier.
It is difficult to continuously train new staff members at operational and mid-management levels. This course assists employers with induction training, motivating staff, and giving them an outline for professional development opportunities. It will provide a solid induction or refresher on aeronautical knowledge to new staff joining the aviation industry and involved in aircraft handling.
The term ‘ground operations’ encompasses the non-maintenance tasks carried out whilst an aircraft is on the tarmac before and after a flight.
This online course provides participants with a detailed level of knowledge, to help ensure safe, secure, efficient handling and effective management of aircraft ground operations. The course consists of 2 parts. In part 1, participants will be completing online, on-demand sessions. This can be done ‘on demand’, meaning at a time that works best for the learner. Participants are given a 2-week window to complete this part, including the accompanying questions.
Part 2 of the course is a 45-minute live online session with one of our highly experienced assessors. This part will verify that the learner has achieved the learning objectives. The oral assessment will look at comprehension and application of the knowledge. It is also an opportunity for the participants to ask questions to the assessors.
